Hello everyone!
1.A quick response (QR) code is a type of barcode that can be read easily by a digital device and which stores information as a series of pixels in a square-shaped grid. QR codes are frequently used to track information about products in a supply chain and often used in marketing and advertising campaigns.
The use of ICT in education is must in digital era. It is quality learning effort. QR Code is technology-based media developed as very fast scanning tool. However, its existence is still rarely used in education. The existence of ICT in the form of QR code in English lessons can support learning success as not all students have computer. QR code is solution to the problem of students because it can be installed on Android.
QR code would be useful if, for example, you don't want to carry a lot of textbooks with you. You just follow the code and the book will open for you. Or to listen to any audio recordings for pronunciation training, etc. QR code can make a student's life much more convenient.
2.Augmented reality (AR) presents us with so many opportunities for language teaching and learning. If you are not familiar with this concept, perhaps the best example is Pokémon Go!
This viral AR game captured the imagination of the whole world a few years ago, and I believe that the engagement that this technology promotes can be used to achieve a similar effect in language classes. AR allows us to interact with the physical world around us, while our understanding is expanded by adding digital content that overlays this physical world. This additional content may include any information that may be useful for a particular experience, such as a video, an instruction manual, historical content, or a virtual personal guide.
The ability to interact with others while making sense of this information can lead to a variety of meaningful interactive experiences. It can also be done quite easily for those who are willing to experiment a bit. Those who are willing to go a little further can engage students in creating immersive, interactive, immersive experiences that support extensive language practice.
3. Quizlet is a free service that makes it easy to remember any information that can be presented in the form of study cards. All you need is to find in the database or create interactive material — your own cards, adding pictures and audio files to them and then perform exercises and play games to memorize this material.
To log in to the service, you need to register or log in via Google or Facebook. In Quizlet, you can send students a link to the module/course, or they themselves can find them by the name of the teacher.
I also have my own cards on the topic of feelings and emotions, click and enjoy — MY FLASHCARDS
